We’re very excited to have a 3-page article in the current issue of French genre film magazine L’ECRAN FANTASTIQUE. They contacted us for an interview after our initial screening in September 2009, and we’re very excited about the generous amount of coverage they gave us alongside several major Hollywood productions. This speaks very well for the future of micro-budget independents. The issue is currently on Newsstands all over France.

NBC Los Angeles wrote up the project, and allows you to vote on how their stories make you feel (I guess that’s web2.0 for local news?). Here are the current stats, with “intrigued” and “thrilled” enjoying hearty leads:

UPDATE: We are now also up on NBC Philadelphia where as of this writing Philadelphians are 67% intrigued by Dr. Bonesaw.

The Echo Game’s first official review is up, and it’s a great write-up from Staci Layne Wilson at Horror.com. Here’s an excerpt:

There is never a dull moment, and the action is nicely augmented by a great original score (Austin Wintory, who also did Grace) and really fantastic cinematography by Jeffrey Waldron … The Echo Game is a solid directorial first-effort.

The dear chaps over at Tubefilter have turned their glorious eyes once again to Coma, Period. in light of our launch this week.

New updates on the existentialist comedy web series Coma, Period from Lead Balloon, the web studio arm of LA-based production outfit Psychic Bunny. The series has signed a distribution deal with Strike.TV and has announced a September 2nd launch date.
